Setting up your boards
Set each board up once. After that, a review is one button.

The person whose board it is. They see their own review and nobody else's.

You. You see every board, ask for reviews, and choose who each board belongs to.
Getting a board onto your Reviews page
- 1In Asana, add Aisys as an editor to the project. Editor, so Aisys can make the fixes you approve.
- 2In Asana, check the project's name has one of these words: Task, Board, Taskboard or Matrix. For example, Sarah's Task Matrix. The Reviews page picks up a new board within ten minutes.
- 3In your hub, choose the team member and press Save. They must be a member of the project in Asana. One person per board. Request review stays grey until the board has a person.
When someone leaves or moves on
Press Change to give the board to someone else, or Remove when they leave. Either way, the old person can no longer open the board's reviews.
A board that isn't a team member's Task Matrix? Press the ✕ to take it off the list.
Which sections are reviewed
- Pending, Priorities, In Progress, Watching and Sign Off - the one-off work.
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Periodic - the recurring work.
- Triggered - recurring work with no fixed rhythm, so it isn't checked for dates, comments or timings.
Every other section is left alone. Someday, Reference, Paused, Done, and anything else you keep on the board.
The Task Matrix custom fields
Five custom fields on your recurring tasks each get a part of the review:
- Urgency - how far the task can slip.
- Second Owner - who covers it when the owner is away.
- Review Date - when to check the manual and video again.
- Average Time - how long the task really takes.
- Estimated Time - how long the manual says it takes.
A field that isn't on the board isn't reviewed. The review leaves that part out, and its Scope tab names the fields it couldn't find. Add the field in Asana, and the next review includes it.
