Aisys OM Pipeline
Creating your Operations Manuals
Tag a task, and Aisys writes the Operations Manual for it. This training takes about ten minutes to read and covers everything you need to start.
Share this training with your team. Anyone whose work is going to be documented will want to read it — it explains what the comments from Aisys are and what to do with them.
A short video walkthrough of this training is coming soon.
What is in this training
It is divided into five short lessons.
- 1Overview What the pipeline does, the three steps from tagging a task to a finished manual, and what happens on the task once Aisys picks it up.
- 2Using it The two things you have to get right — adding Aisys to the project as an editor, and the tag that starts the work. Also how to update a manual when a process changes.
- 3What Aisys needs Much less than you would expect. The three ways people hand work over, and why all of them produce a manual.
- 4Choosing a task Which tasks make a good first manual so you get an easy win, and which ones to leave until you have seen it work.
- 5Recording Why a walkthrough video is worth more than the manual itself, and the seven things to mention while you record one. Optional, but the highest-value thing you can do.
Read them in order, or jump to whichever you need — every lesson stands on its own.
