Aisys OM Pipeline
Walk through
Tag a task and Aisys picks it up within about a minute. It replies to your comments within a few minutes but transcribing and processing videos will take a little longer.
Where the conversation happens
Before you tag - anything you want Aisys to start from goes in your task's description.
After you tag - everything else goes on the OM Pipeline task: your answers, a video link, extra notes, your approval.
How to add the tag
You need commenter access or above on the OM Pipeline project (editor on a free plan) to use the om-create-or-update tag. If you can't see the tag, ask your manager for access.
- 1Open the task.
- 2Press TAB + T (or use the More menu on the task). The tag box opens.
- 3Start typing om-create-or-update and select the tag from the list.
Pick the existing pink tag. Creating a new tag won't work.
If you can't see the pink tag, it means you're not a member of the OM Pipeline project yet.
Creating a new Operations Manual
- 1Make sure Aisys can see the task - through a team shared on the project, as an editor on the project, or as a collaborator on the task.
- 2Put anything useful in the task description before you add the tag. See What Aisys needs.
- 3Add the om-create-or-update tag.
- 4Answer Aisys on the OM Pipeline task. Aisys leaves a link to it on your task.
- 5Reply "Approved" when the draft is right. Aisys files the manual and links it in your task. Everything in your task's description gets folded into the manual.
Updating an existing Operations Manual
- 1Link the manual in the task description. Label it however you like, or just paste the link.
- 2Add what changed, or a new recording, to the description.
- 3Add the om-create-or-update tag. Aisys updates the manual you have rather than writing a new one.
- 4Answer any questions on the OM Pipeline task, then approve.
Working with Task Templates
When you use a Task Template that you duplicate, tag the Template and not the copy.
When duplicating a Task Template, tick off 'tags' so the copies don't inherit the tag.
Don't worry, Aisys will spot and correct these issues and let you know how to fix it next time!
If something isn't working, use the Report a problem with Aisys form.
