Aisys OM Pipeline
Glossary
Every term on this site that is not plain English, in one place.
- Aisys
- The AI team member that writes your Operations Manuals. It works inside Asana like anybody else on the team: it gets given work, it asks questions, it hands things back.
- Approval
- Your yes on a draft: reply "Approved" on the OM Pipeline task. Aisys files nothing until you do.
- Commenter
- An Asana access level. Staff need it on the OM Pipeline project to see the tag and reply to Aisys. On a free Asana plan, use editor instead.
- Comments
- The conversation underneath a task. Reply to Aisys in the comments of the OM Pipeline task - Aisys won't see replies on your own task.
- Description
- The main text box on a task, underneath the title. Anything you want Aisys to start from goes here, before you tag.
- Draft
- The Operations Manual before you have approved it. Aisys posts it on the OM Pipeline task.
- Drive
- Your own document storage - Google Drive, SharePoint or OneDrive. Finished manuals are filed there, in your account. They stay yours.
- Editor
- An Asana access level. Aisys needs it on any project holding tasks you want documented.
- om-create-or-update
- The one tag that matters. Put it on a task and Aisys writes the Operations Manual for it, or updates the one you have. Never create a second tag that looks the same - it does nothing.
- OM Pipeline
- The Asana project Aisys works in.
- OM Pipeline task
- The separate task Aisys opens for each manual. Its questions, your answers and your approval all go there.
- Operations Manual (OM)
- The written record of how a piece of work gets done: what the finished thing should look like, what access is needed, the checks that matter, and a short checklist.
- Project
- A board in Asana that holds a set of related tasks. Aisys can only see tasks in projects it has been added to.
- Tag
- A label you attach to a task. Tags are how you tell Aisys to do something.
- Task Template
- A task that describes work done over and over. It holds the link to its Operations Manual, so whoever picks the work up has the instructions in front of them.
- Walkthrough video
- A screen recording of you doing a task while talking through it. The fastest way to hand work over.
